We have mole in the garden!!! It is making these little dirt hills all over. We wake up almost everyday to another hill. We want to get rid of it before he messes up the whole yard. Any tips?
it even made one in the soccer goal! Urgh!!!

Wow! Are they moles or gophers (Jaida calls them "doophers")? I think moles make raised tunnels. If they are doophers, you are in big trouble. They are ugly nasty critters that can drive you crazy, because they are really smart. They dig back doors, and switchbacks, fake tunnels, and they dig really fast. You can't hose them out, blow them out, gas them out or shoot them out. The traps they make to catch them requires you to dig up huge 2x2' sections that add to the lawn abuse.
Pop's used to chase them with shovels, and cussed at them alot, but you need a hungry cat or wiener dog to do any damage. They ate up three of my lawns and all my resolve to fight them. They are hard to fight, because they don't fight fair. Whenever you start to win, they run into an adjacent yard and hide until you stop looking for them. Then, as soon as you think they're gone--pow!--they're back again.
If they are doophers, I've been told that chocolate exlax will "blow them up." I never got a chance to try it, but I loved the picture that played in my mind. After seeing what they can do to a yard, you don't want them to die quickly, you want them to suffer a little (maybe a lot). Whatever you decide, good luck. Happy hunting. Go Giants!
