Moped

Max and Marcus love to ride this old moped with got from a neighbor a few years ago. They take turns riding it a few times around our yard. They can't wait to get a real license when they turn 16 and can drive on the street! Oh, my nerves!!!

Fritz' new truck

Charly's friend Fritz bought a new (old) truck. It's a 1956 Mercedes pick-up truck. He came over to show it to us and took the kids on a ride through the town. Fritz looks really crazy and grumpy in the picture but he's a good guy who just hates taking pictures...

Kids Race

The kids participated in a school kids race. They ran 1.7 km (1 mile) through this small town. There were about 12 students from their school, Grundschule Riet (Riet Elementary School) who participated. Maxwell's time was 6:55 minutes and Marcus' was 8:08 mins. They were pretty tired but proud.

Stuttgart Race

Dee walked a 2,5 km (1.5 miles) race in Stuttgart with some girlfriends. It was a very nice and sunny day to walk through this big park near the Stuttgart zoo. Everybody who participated got a free t-shirt, bag with some goodies and a certificate. We were pretty tired and hungry afterwards, so we went to the Stuttgart Festival and had a steak kebab and a beer to regain some strength ;)

Idea Park

We went to a kids science and technology expo in Stuttgart called Ideen Park (Idea Park). There were lots of exhibits and fun things for the kids to do and learn. Our friends Maxi and Luca and their mom Silvia joined us. We stayed all day and had lots of fun.
