Kibongo

We went to an indoor playground with some friends. The kids love it! There are trampolines, slides, a climbing structure and lots more. Here's a few pics and a video of Maxwell doing super somersaults on the trampoline...

Gordon's New Team

Our friend Gordon Scott is playing for a new team called Kirchheim Knights. Gordon played in Ludwigsburg with Justin in 2005/06. We went to see him play on Friday night and hung out with his new girlfriend Angie who is very sweet.

First Day of School

The first day of school for the first graders is a big thing here in Germany. There's a church service and then everybody walks up to the school where the rest of the students, 2-4 grade, do a welcoming ceremony where they sing some songs and put on a little skits and such. Then there's coffee and cake for everyone while the 1st graders have their first lesson with the teacher for an hour. The elementary school is really small with only 42 kids in the whole school. There are 8 kids in Maxwell's 4th grade class and 10 in Marcus' 3rd grade class.

I took some pics of the kids going to bed in their room. They have a homemade bunkbed that Charly made out of a two beds and a few 2 x 4's! Max sleeps on the bottom and Marcus up top. They have lots of stuff in their room and we need to organize it a lil better. All in good time!!!
