Europa Park

The kids had a few days off from school so we went to this amusement park about 1 hour away from us called Europa Park. Maxwell and Charly rode all the roller coasters while me and Marcus rode everything else.

Cows

There was a small festival at a farm nearby. We took a tour of the barn and saw (and smelled!) the cows. They were getting milked.

Hedgehog

We found a hedgehog in the backyard! At first I didn't know what it was. Then I looked again and was like "Aaaah!" And ran in the house to tell Charly. He went out and took some pics. It sat there for 2 days before we realized it was dead. Charly picked it up with a shovel and put it somewhere....

Apple Juice

Charly's mom has a small property were she has 3 apple trees. We plucked all the apples we could and put them in bags and baskets. Once a year this truck thing comes to town where the people can bring their apples, they get crushed, processed and then the juice is cooked at a high temperature and bottled into these 5 liter plastic bags which are then put in boxes. We had 100kg of apples which made 150 liters of apple juice (we have 30 boxes). They last 3 years unopened and 3 days once opened. The juice tastes really good too.
