It's been really cold here lately. It's 14 °F in the mornings and heats up to about 41° in the afternoon. It's so cold that everything is frozen. It looks like snow but it's just ice. Everything looks really pretty and white. We drove to a small frozen lake near our house where Charly, Marcus and Klaus (Charly's friend) did some ice skating and played ice hockey. We forgot Maxwell's ice skates at home :( so he just slid around on the ice. I just drank my gluhwein (warm spiced red wine) and took pictures.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We just left Uncle and Aunte Greta's house. We had our usual black eye peas, citterlings, rice, ham, fried chicken, ham and potato salad (your Mom's).
Erica and Gary did not come, nor did Jaie but Shauny, Tenaya, little Larry, Donte Jr (2 yrs old), Glynis and her 2 girls and Jonathan; Uncle Greg, Jade (his current), Destiny & baby Jahlah; Little Greg and Kia; Dee's 4 children--not Big Dee; Anthony (your friend's Cousin; George (your Mom's friend); Uncle Geno and Kianga, Eddie didn't come and Uncle Kenny's children did not come.
We had a grand old time. Wish you all were here but it looks like you guys are having a wonderful time on the ice.
